Our factory is situated at Plot No. A6 and A7 in the Kundaim Industrial Estate. It’s a big area, and Kundiam is known for having a lot of different manufacturing units all clustered together. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of machinery and people moving pallets around. We have a set routine every day that starts with a safety check and then getting the lines running. Because it’s a manufacturing company, there are a lot of rules about where you can walk and what you need to wear, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed where we can. The office is just a small partitioned area at the front of the warehouse where we handle the orders and the shipping documents. Sometimes it gets incredibly hot under the tin roof, especially in the middle of the afternoon, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because most of our clients are other businesses that already know where to find us in Kundiam. The trucks come in through the main gates of the estate and line up for loading. It’s a lot of logistical work, making sure the raw materials arrive on time so we don't have to stop the machines. It's a busy life, and we spend more time here than at home working.
