Ziro Cafe sits right in the middle of Hauz Khas Village at 24/3. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets are. We have been running this place for a bit now and it gets quite interesting on the weekends. Mostly, we are just making coffee and trying to keep the tables clean. It isn't always quiet here because the village is always full of people walking around looking at the old ruins or the shops. We have some regulars who come in just to sit and stay away from the noise outside. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we run out of a specific bean, but we manage. The lights are a bit dim because that's just how the building is. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who show up every day to open the doors. We spend a lot of time talking about what to put on the menu next, though we usually just stick to what people like. It gets hot in the kitchen during the summer, but that is part of the job. We see a lot of students and people who work nearby. Everyone is usually in a hurry except for the ones who have nowhere else to be. We just keep the music at a decent level and hope the day goes by without too much trouble. It is a decent spot to work and we like the neighborhood.
