Costa Cofee

Working here at Costa Cofee in Okhla is a bit different than the big malls you see in the city center. We are located at H.N. 457 in A Block, right near Indra Camp. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around all day. Most mornings start with the smell of the machines warming up and us checking the milk supplies. The weather in Delhi can be tough, so when the air conditioning is working well, everyone wants to stay inside for an extra hour. We see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly people from around the neighborhood or guys working nearby who just need a quick drink to keep going. The furniture gets a bit worn out sometimes because people are always sitting and chatting. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it gets crowded, it's hard to keep up with the empty cups and sugar packets left on the tables. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we grind the beans and serve whatever is ordered. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out with the customers. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We don't do anything special, just make the coffee and talk to the regulars who come in. It keeps us busy and the days go by fast enough when there’s a line.
