Barista Coffee Company

Our spot is at 286/9 on the ground floor of Amritpuri-B in East of Kailash. It’s a busy corner of New Delhi, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of what’s happening on the street. Barista Coffee Company has been a part of the coffee scene in India for a long time, but this specific office is where we handle a lot of the local coordination. It’s not a massive space. We have our desks, a couple of coffee machines for ourselves, and a lot of folders. The air in East of Kailash always feels like it’s moving, with people heading to the market or the metro. We have a small staff here, and we’ve all gotten pretty used to the quirks of the building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn’t really get in the way of our work. We spend our mornings going over the numbers and making sure the cafes have what they need. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just like coffee and we work in the industry. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a very grounded place to work. No big corporate speeches here, just people doing their jobs and drinking way too much espresso. We usually keep the front door closed to keep the Delhi dust out of the office.
