The Barista office is located at C-8 in the Nav Shakti Apartments in Ghitorni. It’s an interesting spot for a coffee company office because it’s right in a residential apartment block. Ghitorni is on the edge of New Delhi and it’s a mix of big farmhouses and busy local streets. Being in an apartment means our office feels a bit more like a home than a corporate building. We have the kitchen area where we are always testing out different brews and machines. The smell of coffee is pretty much always in the air here, which is one of the best parts of the job. We are quite close to the main road and the metro station, so it’s easy for the team to get in every day. The office is usually filled with bags of coffee beans and marketing posters that haven't been hung up yet. We aren't really the type of people who wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our discussions happen over a cup of coffee at one of the desks. We have been in Ghitorni for a while now and we like the vibe of the place. It’s less stressed than the middle of the city. We focus on getting the beans out to the cafes and making sure the equipment is working. It’s a lot of coordination and simple hard work, but we enjoy it.
