I run my business from the ground floor in Shahpur Jat. The address is 253. Shahpur Jat is such a weird and interesting place in Delhi. It’s like an old village that got surrounded by the city, and now it’s full of designers and small shops. My space is on the ground floor, which is good because I don't have to climb any of those steep stairs you find in these old buildings. It’s a simple setup. I go by my name, Yash Vardhan Singh Bisht, because it’s just me doing the work. I spend a lot of time at my desk or talking to people who wander in from the lanes. The lanes here are so narrow that two people can barely walk side by side. It’s always a bit dusty, and there’s always some construction going on nearby. I’ve been in this spot for a bit. It’s not a polished studio with white carpets or anything fancy. It’s a workspace. There are scraps of things and notebooks everywhere. I don't really have a big plan for expansion. I just like working in Shahpur Jat because of the energy of the place. It’s quiet in the mornings and then it gets very busy by the afternoon. I usually stay late to finish up whatever I started that morning. It’s just a normal day for me here in Sahpurjat. I keep things basic and honest, just working on whatever comes next.
