Vactal Engineers is located in the Flatted Factory Complex in Okhla Estate Phase-3. We occupy units C-140 and D-187. Okhla is a massive hub for all kinds of manufacturing and engineering, so there is always a lot of energy around here. Trucks are constantly coming in to unload or pick up goods. Our space is divided between the two units, which keeps us moving back and forth all day. We do engineering work, mostly involving specialized machinery and custom parts. It’s a place where the floors are often oily and there’s always a faint smell of cut metal in the air. We don’t have any fancy meeting rooms. Usually, if someone comes to see us, we just talk in the middle of the workshop or near the main desk which is covered in tools and papers. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been doing this for years. They are good at fixing things when the machines get stuck. We don’t bother with much advertising because our work usually speaks for itself when it gets delivered. It’s a busy environment and can get quite loud during peak hours when all the drills and lathes are running. We just focus on making sure the dimensions are right and the orders get out the door on time. It’s plain, honest engineering work in a very busy part of Delhi. We just take it one order at a time and keep the machines running.
