V. P. Silk Fashion

We operate out of the second floor at C-222 in Lajpat Nagar-I. It's a busy neighborhood with a lot of energy and people always walking by. Being on the second floor means we’re a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the market sounds drifting up through the windows. V. P. Silk Fashion is where we handle all our fabrics and designs. The rooms are usually filled with rolls of silk and loose threads on the floor. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. We have a couple of old sewing machines that make a specific rhythmic sound we’ve all grown fond of over the years. My cousin helps out with the inventory, and a few others come in to help when we have a big load of work to get through. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. Most of our visitors come because they know the type of silk we keep in stock. Sometimes we run out of space to sit because there’s fabric draped over every chair, but we manage. We’ve been in Lajpat Nagar for years and we like the vibe here. It feels like a real community. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the pieces we put out are decent and that our customers are treated like neighbors rather than just numbers. It’s just a simple business.
