The Snook House Cafe

You can find The Snook House Cafe up on the second floor of HS 25 in the Kailash Colony Market. Delhi can be a pretty intense place, especially in the markets, so we built this cafe to be a bit of an escape from all the noise down on the street. We have some snooker tables here because we’ve always liked the game, and it gives people something to do besides just sitting and eating. The place isn't polished or corporate at all. The floors show some wear and the cues aren't all brand new, but it’s a place where you can actually relax. Our staff are mostly younger guys who like the vibe and know how to keep things moving. The food is simple, mostly snacks and easy meals that you can eat while you’re hanging out with your friends. We don't have a massive menu because we’d rather do a few things well than a hundred things poorly. It gets pretty loud in the evenings when the tables are full and people are cheering each other on, but that’s part of the appeal. We aren’t trying to be the trendiest spot in South Delhi. We just wanted a comfortable corner where people could play a game, have a drink, and not feel like they have to dress up or act a certain way. It’s just a local hangout for whoever wants to drop in.
