The Couturiers

The Couturiers works out of units 62-63 of the Padma Apartments, B-1 on the second floor. Our address is on Mandi Road in New Manglapuri. It is a bit of an unusual spot for a business since it is in an apartment building, but it gives us the quiet space we need to work. We focus on clothing and tailoring, which means you can usually hear the sound of sewing machines in the background. The rooms are filled up with rolls of cloth and different types of thread. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when we have a lot of orders to get through, but we always find a way to make it work. We are not some big fashion house with a runway or anything like that. We are just a group of people who know how to use a needle and thread. The road outside can get very congested with traffic, so we try to get our shipping done early in the day before it gets too bad. We have been in this location for a while now, and the neighbors don't seem to mind the noise. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just do the sewing and try to make sure everything is put together the right way. It is a quiet life, mostly just focusing on the fabric and the stitches. We like it here.
