B Nineteen

Down in Nizamuddin East at B-19, you’ll find us. Our place is called B Nineteen, which is pretty easy to remember since it’s just the address. This is a quieter part of town, with lots of trees and older buildings that have a lot of character. Our building is one of those, and it has its own little garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds sometimes get ahead of us. Inside, it’s a bit like a home that’s been turned into a workplace. There are different rooms for different things, and it doesn’t have that open-plan office feel that’s so common these days. We like the privacy of the separate spaces. The stairs are a bit narrow and they creak when you walk up them, but that’s part of the charm, I guess. We don't have a big sign out front or anything, just a small one near the bell. It’s a relaxed atmosphere where we just get on with our tasks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of papers that need to be dealt with. Most of the people who come here have an appointment or have been coming for years. We spend our lunch breaks sitting near the window or going for a short walk in the park nearby. It’s a nice, quiet way to work.
