Jazz Apparel

Jazz Apparel is at G-67 in Shaheen Bagh, right on the Kalindi Kunj Road. Being on National Highway 13 means the sound of trucks and cars is something we hear from morning till night. We work with apparel, so the shop is usually packed with garments and different types of fabric. It’s a busy area and the shop feels it, with people coming in and out and deliveries arriving at all hours. We aren't a high-end fashion label with a runway. We’re just a local business making and selling clothes that people can actually wear in their daily lives. The space isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we stack things. Often you’ll find us sorting through bags of clothes or checking the seams on a new batch of shirts. It gets quite hot during the peak of summer, especially with all the fabric around, but we keep the fans going and stay at it. We don't have a corporate office or a big board of directors. It’s just a few of us making sure the work gets done and the customers find what they are looking for. We’ve seen the road outside change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but it’s how we make our living here in Shaheen Bagh. We just keep going.
