Modesty Garments

You can find us on the second floor of F-40/A in Abul Fazal Enclave, which is part of Jamia Nagar in Okhla. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around, and our workshop is right in the middle of it. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric, thread, and the sound of sewing machines running. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cloth, but that’s just how garment places are. We handle orders for various types of clothing, cutting the patterns and making sure the stitching is done right. The space is a bit cramped when we have a big shipment coming in, and we have to stack boxes wherever they will fit. We aren't a big factory, just a local garment business trying to keep up with the demand. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish the work. The tailors and the cutters have been with us for a while, and we all just get on with the tasks. We don't have a fancy showroom; if you come here, you’ll just see us working. We mostly focus on getting the clothes finished on time so they can be sent out to the shops. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but we like seeing the finished products piled up. We keep a big table in the middle for sorting through all the different colors and sizes before they get packed.
