Tanishk Fashion

Tanishk Fashion is a small outfit located at 654 Chirag Delhi. If you are walking through the neighborhood, you might hear the sound of the sewing machines before you see our sign. It is a tight space with rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and threads all over the floor. We spend our days cutting cloth and making sure the stitching is decent. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months even with the fans going full blast. We have a few tailors who have been working these machines for years. They can probably sew in their sleep. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just walking past in the street. Sometimes a customer comes in with a specific idea and we try to figure out how to make it work with the material we have. It’s a lot of manual labor and eye strain. We usually share a pot of tea in the afternoon and talk about how much the price of cotton has gone up again. Chirag Delhi is a busy place and we are just one small part of it. We just keep our heads down and keep the needles moving. It is not a glamorous life but it keeps us busy and the work is honest. We aren't trying to be a big brand, just making clothes that people can wear.
