Swift Handicrafts

We've been at the C.S.C. Complex in Hauz Khas for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly people coming and going for coffee or running errands. Our shop is at number 3. Most days, we’re just sorting through the new arrivals or dusting off the shelves. It gets a bit dusty around here. The things we have are mostly handmade items, the kind of stuff you find in different parts of the country. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's just a regular space with boxes stacked in the back. Sometimes the light in the hallway is a bit dim, but we keep our door open. People stop by when they’re in the market. It’s not a huge place, just enough to show what we have. Sometimes we’re busy with packing orders, other times it’s quiet. If you know Hauz Khas, you know the parking can be a bit of a headache, so we usually just walk or take an auto. We’ve known the neighbors for years. There's a lot of stuff to look at, from small trinkets to bigger pieces. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when new shipments come in every week. It’s just us here most of the time, making sure things are where they belong. The weather gets hot in the summer, so we keep the fan running. That’s pretty much how it goes every day at Swift Handicrafts. It is a simple life and we like it.
