Bamboo Flutes

Bamboo Flutes is located at A 58 Jawahar Park on Deoli Road. We are tucked away in the Khanpur area. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time with our hands. The smell of wood and bamboo is everywhere in the shop. It isn't a factory; it's just a room where we make things. We have piles of bamboo stalks in the corner that we have to sort through to find the right ones. There is sawdust on the floor most of the time, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a bit of a slow process, making flutes by hand. We don't use big machines or anything like that. It’s just us with some small tools and a lot of patience. People come by Jawahar Park to see what we are working on. Sometimes we play a few notes to test the sound, so there’s usually some music drifting out the door. We aren't trying to sell thousands of these. We just want to make them well. The shop on Deoli Road is small and a bit dark, but it’s perfect for what we need. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the flutes. It’s a simple life, focused on the craft. Bamboo Flutes isn't a big brand name, just a local spot where we care about the instruments we make and the sound they produce every day.
