Swadha Saree

Our shop, Swadha Saree, is over at Plot No 297 in Udyog Vihar, Phase 2. This is part of DLF City Phase II, so it is a bit of an industrial and office area. We are located quite close to Mukesh Tailor, which is the easiest way to find us if you are navigating through the different plots. Udyog Vihar is a very busy place during the week with all the office workers and vehicles. It is not your typical market street. Our space is more of a functional unit than a fancy retail store. We use it to store our sarees and show them to people who come by. The building is a standard plot structure, and it gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. We don't have any big marketing slogans or mission statements posted on the walls. We just have shelves full of clothes and a couple of chairs for people to sit. It is a bit dusty outside because of all the traffic and the construction that always seems to be happening in DLF. We spend our days sorting through fabrics and talking to people who find their way to our plot. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We are just here working in Phase 2, trying to keep up with the daily orders and making sure everything is in its place before we close for the night.
