Spicy

You can find us at 216A / 6 in Gulmohar Park. We called the place Spicy because that’s mostly what we do. It’s a small eatery tucked away here. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a few of us in the kitchen and a couple of people out front. We serve food that we like to eat. The menu isn't huge, but we try to make sure everything we have is done right. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and talk with the regulars. Other days, the phone doesn't stop ringing for deliveries. We do a lot of home delivery for the people living nearby. The kitchen can get a bit cramped when we have five orders going at once. We don't have fancy plates or expensive furniture. It's just a place to get a meal. We use the same spices we’d use at home. Sometimes the delivery guy gets lost in the lanes, but he eventually finds his way. We’ve had some of the same customers since we first opened the doors. They don't come for the decor; they come because they know the food is going to be the same every time. It’s a simple business. We buy the ingredients in the morning, cook them during the day, and go home at night. That’s about it. We try to keep things clean, but the kitchen always has that lived-in look. It’s a busy life, but it suits us well. We just take it day by day.
