Gurudayal

Located right in Shop No 20 at E Block in Hauz Khas, we've been operating on the ground floor for quite some time. It's a nice little spot, even if the parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes in this part of Delhi. Gurudayal is just a name most of the locals here recognize by now. We spend most of our time inside the shop dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s not a massive place, but it fits everything we need to do our work. Some days are quieter than others, where we just sit and catch up on the paperwork, while other days everyone seems to show up at the same time. The light in the shop isn't always the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to just drop in without climbing any stairs. We see a lot of people walking by on their way to other parts of Hauz Khas. It feels like a community here, with the other shopkeepers nodding as they open up in the morning. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide what we provide and hope it helps someone out. Often we end up chatting about the weather or the local news with whoever stops by. It's a simple way to run things, but it works for us.
