You can find us at 33A in the Nangli area, right near Nizamuddin in New Delhi. This part of the city is very old and the streets are quite narrow, so it always feels a bit cramped but lively. Our shop is called Spice, and we’ve been here at this address for many years now. It’s a small space, filled with the things we handle every day. The walls are a bit worn and we don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements. It’s the kind of place where the smells of the neighborhood—food, incense, and old stone—all mix together. We open the shutters early in the morning. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few houses away. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and managing the stock. It’s a very manual process. We don't use much technology besides a basic phone. Sometimes we get people visiting the nearby Dargah who wander into our lane by mistake. We help them find their way. The work isn't complicated, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. My family has lived in this area for generations, so we know every corner of Nangli. It’s a modest way to make a living, and we’re quite used to the noise and the constant flow of people. We just keep the shop running day after day without much fuss.
