Spice Of Life

We’re situated at 241, Main Road in Chattarpur, right across from the APEX Hospital. If you’ve ever been stuck in Delhi traffic around here, you’ve probably seen our sign. Spice Of Life is a name we picked because food really is everything to us. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or checking on the tables. It’s a bit of a small space, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been serving the community for a while now. The kitchen is always busy, and the smell of spices usually drifts out onto the main road. We don’t follow any fancy recipes from books; we just cook how our parents taught us. It’s simple, heavy on the flavor, and filling. We get a lot of people coming in from the hospital across the street, both staff and families, so we try to be as quick as we can without rushing the cooking itself. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people telling their neighbors about us. Some days are harder than others, especially in the summer heat, but seeing a clean plate at the end of a meal makes it worth it. We're just regular people serving regular food, and we hope that's enough for anyone who walks through the door.
