At Sonu Egg Sales, we have been based at 35 Gautam Nagar for a good number of years now. Our life revolves around crates of eggs and early morning deliveries. Usually, we are up before most of the city to receive the fresh stock. The shop is small and filled with stacks of egg trays, sometimes reaching all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a messy business, as there is always a bit of straw or the occasional broken egg to clean up, but that is just how it is. We know most of the people in the Gautam Nagar neighborhood because they stop by for their daily or weekly supply. We do not have any fancy displays or cooling systems, just the basics to keep the eggs moving. It is a straightforward job. We count the eggs, pack them in bags or crates, and handle the cash. Sometimes it gets really busy in the mornings when the local restaurants come to pick up their orders. We do not spend money on advertising or anything; people just know we are here at number 35. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy stacks and making sure nothing breaks. We just keep it simple and honest. Every day is pretty much the same, but we like the routine and being a part of the local market life. It is hard work but we are used to it and it suits us fine.
