Rakesh Meat Shop

Our shop is located at number 30 in the Sukhdev Market area of Sangam Vihar. It’s a small place, but we stay quite busy, especially on Sundays and holidays. We open up early in the morning to get everything ready before the crowds start coming in. The market is always crowded, and you can hear the sounds of people haggling all around us throughout the day. We focus on providing meat to the families who live nearby. It is a messy job, and we are constantly cleaning the counters and sharpening our knives to keep up with the demand. We have a few regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened. They usually want a specific cut or just want to chat for a few minutes while we work on their order. We don't have any fancy displays or cooling systems like the big stores in the malls. It’s just a traditional meat shop with a heavy wooden chopping block. The floor is usually wet from the cleaning, and there's always a bit of a rush in the evenings when people are heading home from work. We handle the livestock ourselves and make sure everything is handled the way it should be. It’s a tough way to make a living, standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people get what they asked for.
