Soft Drink

Our place is at C-46 in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase 1. If you have ever been to Okhla, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and the laborers everywhere. It is a dusty part of Delhi, but it is where all the action is. We go by the name Soft Drink, and we have been operating out of this unit for quite some time. The floor is usually a bit sticky and there is always the sound of bottles clinking together. It gets really hot in the summer, so we have these big industrial fans that mostly just push the warm air around. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you walk in, you are likely to see someone loading a crate or checking a delivery note. We mostly focus on getting the orders out to the shops around the city. It is a lot of physical work, and our clothes usually end up pretty messy by the end of the shift. We have a small office upstairs where we handle the bills, but most of us prefer being downstairs where things are happening. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a local outfit trying to make sure our customers get what they ordered on time. The traffic in Delhi makes that a challenge some days, but we do what we can. It is just everyday work for us here.
