Sodhi Overseas

We are over at E-129 on the second floor in Lajpat Nagar-I. Sodhi Overseas has been in this building for a good while. Lajpat Nagar is always loud and full of people, so being on the second floor gives us a little bit of a break from the street noise outside. We do a lot of trading and moving goods overseas. Our office isn't much to look at, just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't some big shiny firm with a marble lobby. Usually, you’ll see us drinking tea and arguing about shipping schedules or missing paperwork. It’s a small team, mostly family and people we’ve known forever. We don’t really believe in fancy titles or anything. Everyone just does what needs doing, whether it’s answering the door or filling out customs forms. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work, so we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn't much fun. But we like the location because it’s easy for people to find. We’ve been through a lot of changes in the market over the years, but we just keep doing our thing. We don't spend money on big ads. We just try to be honest and get the work done. It’s a busy life, but it suits us. Lajpat Nagar feels like home and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s just how we run the place.
