Skcon International,Jaipur

Being located inside the Nift campus area in Hauz Khas is interesting. We are Skcon International and our roots go back to Jaipur. The Fashion Design department is right here, so there is always a lot of creative energy around the New Delhi office. You see students carrying big boards and rolls of fabric all the time. Our space is tucked away in the 110049 area. It is a bit crowded sometimes because of all the equipment we keep. We have samples of work from Jaipur sitting on the shelves. The air in Delhi feels a lot different than back home, a bit more rushed. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at sketches. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens. Sometimes we have people from the department popping in to ask questions. It keeps things lively. The lighting in the office could be better, but we have enough lamps to see the details on the designs. It is a practical setup. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather use the space for actual work. Getting here in the morning takes some time if you are coming from across town. The Hauz Khas area has its own vibe, very different from the rest of the city. We just try to get our tasks done and keep things moving forward for the Jaipur connection.
