Bhel House is a pretty well-known spot over here by Siri Fort. Most people around Delhi have at least heard of it or driven past it at some point. It’s a big, solid building and it feels like it’s been here forever. Working at Bhel, you get into a certain rhythm. You come in, sign the register or swipe your card, and head to your desk. It’s a lot of corridors and heavy doors. Siri Fort is a nice area to be in, though, because there is a bit of greenery around if you look for it. The office itself is just an office—lots of filing cabinets, old desks, and people talking on phones. We aren't doing anything flashy. It’s mostly about keeping the gears turning and making sure the paperwork doesn't pile up too high. During lunch, everyone sits around and talks about their kids or the traffic on the way in. It’s a very normal place to work. We have a lot of history in this building, and you can feel it in the walls. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, so we just take the stairs if we aren't feeling lazy. It’s a big organization, but when you are sitting in your own corner of Bhel House, it just feels like a small community of people trying to get through the work week and go home to their families. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, and we just keep doing what we do.
