Our office and workshop for Corbett Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at A-108, Durga Vihar, in the Deoli area. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, though we keep pretty busy with the engineering side of things. We have a small team here that spends most of the day looking at drawings or working on parts. It's not a big corporate setup with a receptionist and a coffee machine; it’s more of a place where we just get down to business. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is just the sound of the fans going. We deal with various mechanical parts and technical requirements that people bring to us. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, and we have to shuffle things around to make space. Usually, there’s a lot of paperwork on the desks and bits of machinery sitting around waiting for the next step. We’ve been in Deoli for a bit, so we know the local shops and where to get a quick tea when the afternoon slump hits. Dealing with engineering problems means every day is a bit different, even if the routine stays the same. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us in work clothes trying to figure out a technical detail on a machine. It’s a practical environment for people who like fixing and building things. We just try to do the work right and keep things moving along for everyone.
