We have been operating out of our space in Okhla Phase 2 for quite some time now. It is a bit crowded around here with all the other factories and the constant sound of delivery trucks. Most days start with a quick check on the inventory because things tend to move fast in this line of work. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the machines running and making sure the orders go out when they should. The shop floor gets pretty hot during the summer months but we’ve got some big fans that help a little. I usually spend most of my afternoon going over the paperwork at the small desk near the front entrance. It is a no-frills kind of place and that suits us just fine. Some of the workers have been here for over a decade so we all know how things work without having to talk about it too much. When the power goes out, which happens occasionally in the estate, we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. It’s just how things are in this part of town. People often drop by without calling first just to see if we have a specific part in stock. We try to keep the shelves organized but it’s a constant battle against the dust and the daily rush. It is a steady life and we just keep at it day after day. It’s not always easy but we like what we do.
