Segafredo Cafe

So we’re over in Saket. Most people know the area for the malls, but we’re just a regular spot where you can grab a drink. Segafredo Cafe has been here for a bit. It’s usually a mix of people coming in—some students, some people working on laptops. We don’t have a giant staff. Just a few of us who know how the machine works. The morning shift is usually the quietest. By the afternoon, the noise picks up. We spend a lot of time wiping down tables and restocking the beans. It’s not some high-end corporate lounge. It’s just a cafe. The chairs are comfortable enough, though some are starting to show their age. We don't do much advertising. People just find us while walking around Saket. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but we can turn it down if someone asks. We get the same delivery guys every day. They know where to drop the milk. It’s a simple routine. We open up, get the water boiling, and wait for the first person to walk in. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just try to keep the place tidy and the coffee hot. Saket is a busy place, but once you’re inside here, it feels a little slower. That’s just how it is. We have one lightbulb in the back that flickers, but we haven't got around to changing it yet. The counter is getting a bit worn where people lean.
