Our workshop is tucked away on Dera Mandi Road in Mehrauli. It is a busy part of the city, but once you get inside K-7, it is mostly just the sound of people working away. We have been at this for a long time, making different things that people seem to need. It is not a shiny office with glass walls or fancy chairs; it is more of a practical space where we get our hands dirty every day. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck gets stuck in the heavy Mehrauli traffic, but we manage to keep things moving along. We started small and just slowly added more space as we went along over the years. The staff here mostly lives in the surrounding area, so we have become a bit of a tight group. We do not spend much time on fancy letters or big meetings. We just focus on whatever is on the table that day. If you come by to see us, you will probably see piles of materials waiting to be used and some scraps on the floor. It is a real working environment, not a showroom. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially during the summer months. We try to keep the place organized, but when we have a big order, things get a bit messy. It is just the way it is when you are actually making things. We have seen the neighborhood change, but we are still here at the same spot.
