Sannu Hair & Beauty Saloon

We’ve been here at Maidan Garhi for quite a while now. If you walk down Harijan Chopal Road near the bus stand, you’ll see our shop, Sannu Hair & Beauty Saloon. It isn't a fancy place with big lights or anything like that, just a regular spot where people from around here come to get their hair cut or fixed up. We have a few chairs and the usual tools. Most mornings start with cleaning up the floor and getting the towels ready. It gets busy when the buses pull in and people are headed home from work. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and talk with whoever is in the chair about the weather or what’s happening in the street outside. We handle basic stuff like haircuts, shaves, and some beauty things for the ladies too. It’s a small space but we keep it tidy enough. People know us by name and we know most of them. It's just how things are in this part of Delhi. You don't need a lot of fuss to get a decent trim. We just do the work, sweep up the hair, and wait for the next person to walk through the door. The mirrors are old but they work fine. We don't have a website or anything, just the sign out front. It’s a simple life running a shop near the chopal, and we like the routine of it every day. We also keep a few chairs outside if it gets too hot.
