Sabia Export India

Our office is over at C-13 in Green Park Extension. It’s a bit of a different vibe than the heavy industrial zones because it's a bit more settled around here. We’ve been running Sabia Export India from this spot for a good number of years. It’s not a huge operation, just a handful of us sitting at desks piled high with fabric samples and shipping documents. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we have to walk down the street to get something to drink, which gives us a bit of a break. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about a container or a delay at the customs office. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and maps. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new batch of samples comes in and we have to find room to spread them out on the floor. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. It’s a lot of back-and-forth emails and checking schedules. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The afternoon sun hits the front window quite hard, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. It’s just a normal place where we work hard and hope for the best with each shipment we send out. We aren't trying to be something we're not.
