S2K Apparels

You can find S2K Apparels up on the third floor of F-315 over in Lado Sarai, right on M.B. Road. It’s a bit of a climb up those stairs every day, especially when we’re carrying rolls of fabric or finished garments, but it keeps us moving. From the windows, you can see the busy street below and all the people heading toward the metro or the local shops. Our floor is usually buzzing with the sound of sewing machines and people talking over the noise. We have racks of clothes sitting around in various stages of being finished. It’s not the neatest place, as there’s usually thread and scrap fabric on the floor by the afternoon. We’re a small group here, and we’ve worked together for a long time now. We don't bother with anything too formal. The light in Lado Sarai is actually pretty good for seeing the colors of the materials we use. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to stack it wherever there’s room. We just keep our heads down and work on the orders as they come in. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just like making things that people can wear and making sure the stitching is solid. It’s a typical day-to-day business, and we're just glad to have our spot here on the third floor where we can focus on our work. It is what it is for us here.
