S. R. S. Exporters

S. R. S. Exporters is located at C-47 in Lajpat Nagar-I. If you have ever been to Lajpat Nagar, you know how difficult it is to find a parking spot, so we usually tell people to take an auto if they are coming to see us. Our building is a typical one for this neighborhood. We use the space to manage our export business, which basically means we are surrounded by piles of boxes and packing tape all day long. We deal with various goods that need to be checked, labeled, and sent off to the port or the airport. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes our backs ache by the end of the shift. The office area is just a corner with a desk and a couple of chairs where we handle the paperwork and customs forms. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up. Lajpat Nagar-I is a lively place, so there is always something happening outside our door. We’ve been at C-47 for a good number of years now. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break from packing. It’s not a glamorous job, but we make sure the items are packed correctly and shipped out on time. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily list of chores.
