You can find us in Safdarjung Enclave at B-3/65. It is a pretty good spot in Delhi, mostly quiet compared to other areas. The neighborhood is mostly houses, but there are some businesses like ours tucked away on the side streets. We handle exports, which sounds a lot more interesting than it actually is on a daily basis. Most of the time, we are just sitting here tracking packages and making sure the labels are stuck on correctly. There are about five of us in the office on most days. It gets a bit cramped when we have new samples lying around the floor. We have been in this same building for several years. The walls really need a new coat of paint, but we are always too busy to actually call a painter. Every morning starts the same way with a round of tea and checking the emails that came in overnight. Since we deal with people in different time zones, the work can feel like it never really stops. It is a lot of back and forth on the phone. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes there are shipping delays that drive us crazy. We just keep our heads down and try to get through the pile of work. No one here wears a suit or anything. We just stay comfortable and get on with things, hoping the electricity doesn't cut out during the peak of summer.
