Ramayana Handicrafts

Ramayana Handicrafts is our small shop in the N-12 Market of Greater Kailash-I. This market is a busy place in Delhi, and we have been here for quite a while. Our shop isn't very big. In fact, it’s quite cramped with all the items we have stored on the shelves and even on the floor. We try to keep a path open for people to walk, but it isn't always easy. We don't have any fancy lighting or modern displays. We just use the same old shelves we’ve had since the beginning. The market can get very loud with shoppers and traffic outside, but we are used to the noise. We know a lot of the other people who run shops in N-12. It’s a tight-knit group. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or marketing. We just open our doors and wait for people to come in. Most of our days are spent dusting the items and talking to anyone who wanders inside. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really hot in the summer, so we use a couple of small fans to keep the air moving. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our setup. Ramayana Handicrafts is just a local business in a busy market. We do what we can with the space we have and we are happy to be here.
