Rajco Handloom House

Rajco Handloom House is right in the middle of Central Market in Lajpat Nagar-2. Our specific spot is J-20. Anyone who has ever been to Lajpat Nagar knows it is one of the busiest markets in the whole city. There are people everywhere, colors hanging from every stall, and a constant noise of bargaining. We have been part of this chaos for a long time. Our shop at J-20 is packed floor to ceiling with handloom fabrics. We don't have much room for fancy displays, so we just stack the goods and hope people find what they need. It gets really crowded on weekends, and sometimes it feels like you can't even move inside the shop. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. Our office is just a small stool behind the counter where we keep the accounts. We deal with all kinds of people, from regulars who have been coming for decades to tourists who are completely lost. We don't try to push anyone to buy things. We just show them what we have on the shelves and let the cloth speak for itself. The tea seller from around the corner knows exactly when we need a break. It is a hectic life in Central Market, but being at J-20 feels like home to us. We just keep the handlooms moving and try to survive the summer heat like everyone else.
