Pathani Fashion is tucked away at B-36 in Abul Fazal Enclave, over in the Jamia Nagar area of Okhla. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes of Abul Fazal, you know how lively it gets, especially in the evenings. Our shop is right in the middle of all that energy. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and the hum of sewing machines. It’s not a big boutique with bright lights and mannequins in every corner. It’s a place where we actually sit down and work on the clothes. There are threads on the floor and scraps of cloth tucked into corners, which is how a real tailoring shop should look, I think. We’ve been here in Okhla for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We focus on making sure the fit is right and the stitching holds up. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make clothes that people can wear comfortably. Sometimes the shop gets crowded when neighbors stop in to chat or check on their orders, but we like the company. It makes the long hours go by a bit faster. We aren't trying to be a global brand, just a reliable place in the enclave for people to get their clothes done.
