About Paras Overseas India – Art & Craft in South Delhi
We are over in Vinoba Puri, right in Lajpat Nagar-II. It’s house number 148. This neighborhood is a mix of people living their lives and small businesses like ours tucked into the streets. Paras Overseas India isn’t a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller setup where we all wear many hats. One minute I’m looking at documents, the next I’m helping move boxes out to the street for pickup. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, and finding parking near our office is almost impossible most days. We’ve grown used to the chaos of the area. Inside, the office is filled with files and samples of things we handle. It can get a bit disorganized when we have a big shipment coming in, but we usually find what we need eventually. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. We’d rather just have good computers and a working tea kettle. The staff here is like a small family. We celebrate birthdays with cake in the break area, which is really just a corner with a couple of chairs. It’s a humble place, but we work hard to make sure things go where they are supposed to go. Dealing with international stuff means we are often working odd hours to match other time zones. That’s just part of the job. We've been at this address for a long time and the tea shop downstairs knows our order by heart.
