You can find Orient Craft Ltd (Indias No.1 Garment Export House) over at Chatterpur Enclave in New Delhi. Specifically, we are at Biswajeet Sanyal’s place, which is House Number D-69 on the first floor. Chatterpur is a very busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside. The office is tucked away in a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more personal than a standard office block. We’ve got the first floor to ourselves, and it’s filled with desks, fabric samples, and a lot of paperwork. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re carrying things up. Biswajeet is usually around managing the flow of things. We don't really have a mission statement or any of that talk; we just focus on getting the garments ready and making sure the export side of things moves along. The air conditioner hums in the background all day because it gets quite hot in Chatterpur. We like the location because there are plenty of places to grab lunch nearby, and the energy of the area keeps us moving. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of samples arriving, but we manage the space as best as we can. It’s a busy, functional spot that serves its purpose well for us.
