Nisha Leather Handicraft

Nisha Leather Handicraft is located at G-98/B and G-99/A in Lal Kuan, right on M.B. Road. Lal Kuan is a busy area, and being on M.B. Road means there is a constant stream of cars, buses, and trucks roaring past our door. It’s a loud place to work, but it’s where all the action is. Our workshop is spread across these two units. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the heavy scent of leather. It’s a smell that gets into your clothes and stays with you even after you go home. We have benches where the actual work happens, and pieces of leather are stacked everywhere in different colors and textures. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person; it’s just a few of us making things by hand. The light in the workshop isn’t the best, so we use some extra lamps when we’re doing the fine stitching. In the winter, it’s nice and cool, but in the summer, we really feel the heat from the road outside. We drink a lot of water and keep the work moving. The address might look a bit complicated on paper, but if you’re driving down M.B. Road, you can’t miss the area. It’s a real, grit-and-grime type of place where things actually get made.
