Nido Lounge

Our place is at 538, Carlton Hotel on the Main Chattarpur Road. It’s right next to the PNB Bank, which is a big landmark for people trying to find us. Delhi traffic on this road is usually quite bad, so you’ll hear a lot of noise if you’re standing outside. We tried to make the lounge a bit different from the dusty street outside. It’s a big space since it’s part of the hotel building. We get a mix of people—some staying at the Carlton and others just passing through Chattarpur. The bank next door brings in a lot of people during the day who stop by for a drink or a snack while they wait for their paperwork to get processed. We don't have a very strict dress code or anything like that. Just come in and sit down. The lighting is usually kept low to give it a relaxed feel. We have some comfortable chairs, though a couple of them need a bit of repair soon. The staff here is mostly local guys who know the area well. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass windows because the road dust is constant in Delhi. It’s a decent spot to sit and wait out the traffic jams that happen every evening on Chattarpur Road. We don't have any big gimmicks or fancy light shows. It’s just a place to sit and relax. The Carlton Hotel has its own vibe, and being part of that same building means we see a lot of travelers with suitcases.
