Nepali Village Handicrafts

We are located right on the Main Road in Neb Sarai, not too far from the Ignou Road crossing. Nepali Village Handicrafts is a small shop, but we’ve got a lot of things packed into the shelves. Most of what you see here is handmade. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, watching the traffic go by every day. It’s a busy road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We get a mix of people coming in—students from the university nearby, locals, and sometimes someone just passing through. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything fancy. It’s just a shop where we sell things we like. Sometimes the items arrive a bit late because they are coming from small villages, but that’s part of the process. We know the stories behind most of the pieces we sell. It’s not just a business for us; it’s what we do every day. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. The space at 178/1 is easy to spot if you are looking for it. We like talking to the people who stop by. It’s a simple way to spend the day, surrounded by crafts and the sound of the street outside.
