Navin Polycon

Navin Polycon is based out of shed number 81 in the DSIDC area, Scheme-I, Phase-II of the New Okhla Industrial Complex. Working in an industrial shed is a bit different than a regular office. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s always something being moved around. We deal with polycon and plastics, so the smell of the materials is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Okhla is a massive place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know where you’re going. Our shed is one of many, but we’ve made it our own. We have our machines set up on one side and a small area for the desk work on the other. It’s a practical setup meant for production, not for showing off to visitors. Most of our time is spent monitoring the machines and making sure the batches come out the way they are supposed to. We don't have a lot of corporate meetings; we usually just talk over the noise of the floor. If there's a problem, we fix it right then and there. We’ve been in this complex for a while, and we know the other owners around us. Sometimes we swap tools or help each other out with deliveries. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused on the output.
