Nav Durga Handicrafts

We've been at Garhi Mendhu in Bhajnapura for quite a while now. The workshop is right at Garhi Navdurga Bhavan No D 97, just on Street No 6 along Main Pusta Road. If you know where the Power House is, we are basically right across from it. We handle a lot of different handicraft work here. It’s a busy spot but we manage to stay on top of things. My family started this place and we just keep it going day by day. Sometimes the street gets crowded with traffic, especially near the power station, but we’re always inside working on something. We make things by hand mostly. It takes time to get the details right, so we don't rush through the orders. People from around the neighborhood know where to find us if they need something specific made. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a regular workspace with tools and materials scattered around where we do the actual work. You might see us sitting near the entrance when it's quiet. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, but we've stayed in the same building. It's a simple setup. We focus on the items we’re making and try to stay organized, though it gets messy when we have big projects going on. If you're passing by the main road, you'll see our sign near the gate. We just try to do honest work and stay busy throughout the week.
