Mughal Shawls

You can find Mughal Shawls at Shop No 79, E Block, on Ram Pull Road. We are very close to the Ram Pull itself in Lajpat Nagar 1. This part of Lajpat Nagar is always moving, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to shop and eat. Our shop is a modest space where we keep our collection. It’s not one of those big fancy stores you see in the malls. It’s a real place with a counter that has seen better days and a rug that’s a bit worn out from all the feet walking over it. We spend our mornings folding things and making sure the displays look decent enough. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly wiping down the glass. The neighbors are good people and we often share a pot of coffee during the slow hours in the afternoon. When it gets cold, the shop gets much busier, and we barely have time to sit down. My cousin helps out when things get frantic. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just open the doors, sell our goods, and try to be fair with everyone who walks in. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us just fine. It’s a simple business run by people who live nearby.
