Mitali Creations

You can find Mitali Creations over at 1030/9 on the first floor in Govindpuri. It’s one of those buildings where you have to look closely at the numbers to find the right entrance because everything looks similar. The stairs are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to take their time coming up to the floor. Our workspace is pretty crowded because we try to fit a lot of materials into a small area. We have our machines lined up and there’s usually a pile of finished work waiting in the corner to be packed. It’s a family-run thing, and we don’t really have any formal roles; we all just do what needs to be done that day. The neighborhood of Govindpuri is always full of life, and you can hear the sounds of the street even through the closed windows. We have a small balcony where we sometimes take a quick break to get some fresh air. We don’t have any fancy furniture, just some old chairs and the work tables we’ve had since the beginning. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or talk to the neighbors downstairs. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to make sure the things we produce are done right and on time. Most of our day is spent checking the small details and making sure we haven't missed anything. It’s a simple life and we are happy with our little first-floor spot.
