We are located at F-89/4/1 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. Mir Handicrafts has been around for quite a bit now. Being in Okhla means there’s always something happening, trucks coming and going all day long. Our workshop is where all the actual making happens. We do various handicrafts, mostly things people use in their homes. It’s not a high-tech factory. Most of the work is done by hand, using tools that have been around forever. Our workers are skilled, but they aren't machines. They take their time on each piece. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, or a material isn't quite right, and we have to start over. That’s just part of the process. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy slogans or trying to sound like a big corporation. We are just a private limited company made up of regular people. The office is small and usually has samples of our work lying around on every surface. We have some tea, talk about the day's tasks, and try to get the orders shipped out on time. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage. We’ve built a decent reputation just by being consistent and showing up every morning.
