Metal Dance Academy

We run Metal Dance Academy over in Sangam Vihar, at the A-780 spot. It’s a dance studio, but do not expect anything too glitzy. We have some mirrors on the walls and a floor that we try to keep clean, though it gets scuffed up pretty fast. People come here to move around and learn some steps. It is usually loud with music playing from a speaker that we have to kick sometimes to make it work. We have classes for different ages, so you will see kids running around in the afternoon and older folks in the evening. Sangam Vihar is a busy place, and our studio is right in the middle of it. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the bass, so we turn it down a bit. We do not have fancy uniforms or anything like that. Just come in clothes you can sweat in. The instructors are just people who like to dance and wanted a place to show others how it is done. We spend a lot of time sweeping up after the last class of the night. It is a simple space, but it is ours. We have been at A-780 for a while now. Most people find us because they hear the music when they walk past. It is just a place to hang out and get some exercise without any pressure. We are just here to keep the beat going and have some fun.
